There comes a time for change

I'm interested in knowing where everyone gets their news. The people that visit forums like this actually do pay attention to the news more than most other people. Where do you get your news? Television, Radio? National Newspaper? Online content of a national newspaper? Some of you have figured out that I'm in the newspaper business. Most likely because I've stated it at least once in a thread. Ever been in a book club? If John Gault, Exploited, Philly, Menson and I all showed up for book club but we read different books the conversation wouldn't make a lot of sense, would it?

What if we could find at least one major topic, something that is front page of one of the national newspapers, and that topic we discussed. We wouldn't be limited to just one but one topic would be the Topic of the Day. Once we got it going we could throw it up on our social media or link it in comments on a media outlet's website.

I have a digital subscription to the New York times. If you guys are interested I could post a story every like 2 days that's interesting. I think I could find some good stuff.

Just a thought. We have 3 new posters here in the past few months. 2 of them are great additions. 1 is spoiling it for the rest of us. "More members" might not be what we really need, if 33% of them are like that, then this place could go downhill pretty quick.

But, what if we use colorful fonts and different size letters? Wouldn't that make it better? It's not ALL about content, John.
