Idk what you are talking about bro. Power/USB on one side, headphones on the other. What more do you need. Only time I ever plug anything into my laptop is my phone to sync or charge it. I personally can't wait for it, looks awesome and perfect for someone like me

Agree with saz. Only three things you need to be able to plug in to your computer are power chord, usb and headphones. My laptop has an hdmi jack which is nice but not necessary.

For me, an HDMI jack would be essential, because I use it when I'm making presentations and that is what it seems most projectors use these days.

That said, at home, I could easily make due with just a single USB port and AUX.

I thought about what ports I use on my MacBook Pro. I pretty much only use the power port and lightening port. If at a desk, I use the thunderbolt and power. When sitting on my couch, I don't use any ports. The only reason that I haven't went to the Air is because the Pro comes in 15". The Air only comes in 11" and 13", but I might consider it. I compared the 11" Air to my iPad.
