And I'll emphasize once again: because the cut of his jib seems to really piss people off, I understand that Mr. Shaman's posts result in a lot more conflict, but seriously if you have a problem with people rambling on about Bush and teabaggers, babbling the same partisan gibberish from thread to thread regardless of the topic, Indy does that. Before he ran away to avoid taking shit for getting the election so wrong, Ozzone did the same thing from the opposite side of the aisle. We want to have more posters here but we forget, partisans who regurgitate simplistic talking points are part of any political forum with a lot of activity. Obviously, the mods and admins are going to make their own call on people like Shaman who really bother people, but if we really want this place to grow, we have to be tolerant of people who we see as....eh...less deep thinkers than some of us. I think the solution is to lead by example and let the core community members set the tenor of how discussions should look. It shouldn't be banning or shaming people off the board for having a shallow perspective.
