Want a turkey, but don't want to wait 5 hours for it to bake?
Build a microwave-oven. It's a baking oven that also produces microwaves. The turkey meat would be cooked via the microwave, while the the skin can be crisped via the traditional heat from the coils. When you build the microwave oven, make sure there are no sharp edge inside because that would cause an electric arc. A smooth interior is preferred.

Want to reduce the national debt?
Cut out education spending once every 10 years. Everybody who is currently in school will take a year off. Education spending would be cut to $0. All research will be deferred to the guy who works at the burger joint who, after the release of any major research paper, always said "I could've told you THAT." By just asking him instead of doing research, we save a lot of money

Want to have more minorities in the workforce?
Don't use affirmative action measures. They're counterproductive. Just make it very difficult to fire a white guy. Employers will see him as more of a liability compared to the minority, and will hire the minority instead

Want to pack light for camping?
Don't pour ice in your cooler. Freeze water bottles and put them in the cooler. You won't have the problem with melted ice all over your grape. Plus you have cool water to drink

Want Palestinians to feel good about the land they have?
Don't just give them back the land you took from them during the war. There's no pride in just getting land back, so they'll want more. Make them win the land back through a Middle East Olympic game. You can give them back less land while preserving peace longer because they will feel a sense of accomplishment in winning rather than just getting
