Obviously we aren't going to sanction them or refuse any and all business with them however, their pull has dimished with the global glut and oil shale in general. OPEC's power is currently waning as China slows and the US produces its own oil for consumption. IMO, a normalization of relations with Iran is a large negative for Saudi Arabia which may as well amount to "dropping them." It's a clear indication their power is waning in the region or at least losing its dominance.
