The writing was absurd. Almost every scene was over acted badly. The dialogue was laughably overdramatic and wildly unrealistic. The villains were one dimensional caricatures. It just wasn't a good show and I'm amazed at people with fairly discerning taste thinking otherwise. Blech. It felt like a pretentious NYU film major's pet project.
