Philly is right, a cocktail needs at least 3 ingredients, one of which has to be a spirit.
I remember one of my clients throwing a Christmas party a few years ago, they reserved an entire hotel floor and it had an open bar so I just sat near the bartender and told him to make me every cocktail in the book till I pass out. Needless to say I hardly remembered what happened next.

COCKTAIL THREAD!!!!!!
The Last Word:
3/4 oz Gin
3/4 oz Green Chartreuse
3/4 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liquer
3/4 oz FRESH Lime Juice (will suck if not fresh)
Shake with ice, strain, serve up and garnish with one cherry.
Awesome and very potent (green chartreuse is 110 proof)
