My reference to the great firewall wasn't referring to blocked content but the speed of said connection. I'm not trying to copy word docs or file types of small size from my cloud, I'm trying to download large file sizes comprised of mostly raster files. I also have to put together presentations on the fly quite often, usually literally while I'm flying, so trying to download a 50mb file from the cloud while sitting for three hours on a China Southern flight isn't going to do jack shit for me (especially when it's sitting on my remote hard drive burning a hole inches away). If I want to use my iPad I'm effed if I need to cobble something together, which is quite often. Happened to me just last week, which is why this is near and dear to me. I would love to just be able to get rid of my too big Tumi bag, leave my laptop at home, and travel lighter and still be able to do my job. It would only take one little extra ability from my iPad and I'd be good to go, but Apple won't cooperate.
Surface, can you help?
Also, shove the boomer/not tech savvy bullshit. I'm neither you twit. The list of softwares (of extreme complexity) I'm an expert at would make your app loving head spin.
