Just finished Seveneves by Neal Stephenson.
I am not sure how to feel about it, which is a good thing, because all of my favorites of his I felt the same way. Then I reread and fall in love.
The first two-thirds is fascinating as hell. Lots of technical talk, lots of geekery. Then it changes totally in tone, style and setting. Still lots of tech and geek though.
Ambitious as all holy hell, I predict many people will hate it, and critics especially so. But that's not unusual for him - typically the more literary the critic, the more they hate his shit.
Galt will spasm at all the made up words.
