NBA playoffs 2015

Since thedude is no longer around I couldn't find a nba thread and was wondering if anyone else is into this playoff run. Since my mavs went down in the first round (As was to be expected), I've been watching the various series purely as a bball fan, and some of these series are awesome. Especially the Western Conference, the Rockets/Clippers and Warriors/Grizzlies have been high drama.

One thing that's really enjoyable to me is that none of the usual suspects are left now. No lakers, Celtics, Spurs, etc. Lots of first timers or haven't been in forever. I heard a stat and, besides Houston none of the teams left have won a championship in more than 30 year iirc (or never). I think that's awesome. If we end up getting a Warriors/Clippers vs. Cavs/Hawks final four, then that's a massive NBA seed change.

Golden state still looks like the fav, but I could see any of the other teams from the West pulling it off. Eff the east, they'll get rolled by any of the western conference teams.

can we all take a moment to laugh at the bulls. horrible, they went down like lebron stooges. GS/Rockets/Cavs/Hawks, with a GS/Cavs final. Should be good.

Personally, I like to root for the little guy. Which is Curry, so go Warriors.

Excellent Game One. Cavs nearly pulled it off in regular time, but GS finally pulled away in OT.

The two stars lived up to their billing, awesome game from both. Good start to the series.

JR Smith did absolutely nothing. Cavs 0-12 from the field to end the game, one token bucket in OT, Irving out. Cavs are gonna go down hard unless they get it together. Cali may be in a drought, but it's RAINING in Oakland!
