What am I missing here? Why does everyone assume Stannis is dead since he killed Shireen? Or is it just cause of Ramsay's sabotage and he was dead whether he burned her or not?
I personally think killing him off next week would make the Shireen scene gratuitous but if he survives and has to live with what he's done it serves a purpose.
