I do not believe that "schizophrenic hallucinations" is the most dominant "scientific explanation." I understand what you mean, that there are actual physical occurrences in many instances, to be explained naturally, that are not all some form of delusion, but that doesn't mean that you believe in ghosts. Certainly there are sounds, shadows, lights and so on that may seem inexplicable, that may seem to some the product of ghosts, that have occurred but are the products of natural occurrences rather than ghosts. There is no doubt at all, however, that in many instances people are having strong emotional/psychological episodes and are indeed hallucinating in some fashion.
