The bulk of the article is petty, antagonistic garbage. The only idea I saw that was halfway valid was the superiority complex, but not for the reasons stated.
I've said this a million times on this site before, and I'll just preface it once again by saying this is just my personal opinion from my own experience. I'm not saying it's the definitive truth, it's just what I've observed. Muslims are more easily offended about their religion because, quite simply, they actually believe in their religion. They don't just pay lip service to it. They BELIEVE. True belief. A kind of belief that is so sincere, so literal, so unquestioning, so all-encompassing.........it's unlike the norm of any other major religion. So when someone offends their faith, it's not just some existential exchange of ideas to them. It's an immediate threat to their eternal soul. They have to react strongly, or they will offend the god that they TRULY believe exists and is watching them. When you truly believe in your monotheistic religion, there is no wiggle room for debate or humoring blasphemy. None.
It may seem obvious, but if you think about it, it's really not something we in the west have much experience with. Or any experience at all, for most people. Western christians aren't as easily offended as muslims, generally speaking, because deep down they don't really believe the Bible is the literal word of God. They say they do, but they don't.
