Hockey is retarded. LOL at you out of touch people running your mouth about a game that can only be played in subzero temperatures.
Aussie rules football is actually pretty sweet. Tons of aussies out here in Asia and so I've been watching a ton if it at the bars. Just watched west coast destroy some other team yesterday. I think Rugby is the premier physical sport while soccer is the premier skill sport. Would have my son play both and then let him run with whatever one he is better at. Would never let him play american football and I would never live or raise a child in a place cold enough for hockey to be popular.
Also would encourage my kid to play lacrosse even though I don't know much about the game.
