Peaky Blinders is decent but at times the writing is nonsensical. They'll establish something important about a relationship or a character than knock it down like an episode later. Like one betrayal turning around again 36 hours later or Churchill's speech about respecting Shelby's war service in one sentence than giving the go-ahead to hang him in the next. Great period piece though. And Hardy and Murphy kill it of course and redeem the overacting by the ancillaries.
