Weirdos from high school (and even grade school!) hunting me down on facebook is one of the many reasons I deactivated my account.

The fact that we have threads show that it's a relic of old times. We should have bubbles that connect arguments together.
Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.
