I didn't see the full context, but based on the excerpt, I don't read that intent. It sounds like he is just saying nobody would know about Hillary's actions re: Benghazi unless they put together a committee, and that these actions resulted in her being less trustworthy.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but that doesn't seem to imply that they created the committee for that reason, although it certainly wouldn't shock me.

He is literally explicitly saying that a conservative-controlled House is being used to help conservatives "win". Dems do it too of course but Ueber's right - it's bizarre to see somebody being so open about using the House for political ends.

I disagree, because he's speaking with knowledge of today vs years past now. Much of the personal server situations came about from the push for Benghazi information (correct?). So, had they not pursued this, we may have never known that she was keeping other emails on a personal server.

Yes, but the Benghazi stuff was well before the elections. Any political issue that can be made into a popular one, is part of the strategy. Everyone tries to slander the other party and win any election, there is always a strategy to fight and win.
