One notable thing about the boomers, no matter when it was, the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, into the 2000s and into today, it's always the most important time in THEIR lives. Aka, it's never time to think of other generations because the most important people "right now" (read: always) is them. In the 60s and 70s their carefree lifestyle had to be preserved at all costs. In the 80s and 90s when they were planting the seeds of the financial disaster it didn't matter because they were making money during the most important time in their lives. Now they're retiring just in time for there to be no good jobs available but who cares as long as they get to collect those entitlements during the most important years. It's completely pathetic.
