Here's Why Capital Punishment Needs to Go

Today with all the science involved (video, DNA, etc, ) its much easier to reach guilty/not guilty. Capital punishment should only take place only after 100% no doubt guilty is reached, and within thirty days.

Actually it was kinda. Because stating that wrongful convictions were the issue didn't negate the idea that we need to get rid of or at the very least suspend the death penalty.

Unless you were arguing that we should just keep cruising along until the conviction problem is solved, still administering it. You guys were actually supporting the argument without even realizing it.

IMO it's disrespectful to what the subjects of this story went through to point at the death penalties that were never carried out and say "Look what could have happened!"

No, look at what did happen. Something outrageous and disgusting. I'm already in favor of abolishing the death penalty but if you show me the story of a guy who lost 30 years of his life in prison for a crime he didn't commit I'm not gonna say "oh god he almost got executed". I'm going to be outraged at what ACTUALLY happened to him.
