Since when are investigations defined as acceptable uses of taxpayer dollars for purely political purposes?
And nobody's answering my question: where were all the "political" investigations during Bush/Cheney? That was eight years of no investigations, save for the joke 9/11 Commission, which came to the conclusion that nobody was to blame.
I don't remember 9/11 being investigated eight times, or with unlimited funding. I do remember President Cheney trying to kill it at every turn.
Where was the investigation into Iraq? The public testimony from Bush or his legal guardian, Cheney? Zilch.
Let's see: during the first Clinton we had the endless Whitewater investigations and when that came up empty we got Monica-gate, and then an impeachment.
Yet I'm hearing from you two a refusal to condemn the obvious and instead pleas that we must like, keep liberty and give Congress power and all sorts of other red herrings.
