I don't know about you but I'm officially hyped. Which means that unless its completely spectacular, I'm going to be a bit miffed.

So I think it's clearly supposed to be Luke speaking. Is Darth Vader alive?

To a lot of people, its the most important franchise of our childhoods. So much meaning wrapped up in the characters, the music, even the sounds and shapes of things. Hits us right in the feels like nothing else. Yeah, they reboot this or that, and its all lots of fun seeing new Trek movies and various comic book movies....but this is effin' Star Wars.

I think J.J. Abrams gets that.
