I've never really thought ill of Russia once the Cold War ended--I thought we had moved on to China (remember the P3 incident right after Bush started!) but then came 9/11. And now you've got Russia apparently not liking us again. Although of course Putin's exploiting that to the hilt because hey it's easier to distract your people with enemies and nationalism than it is to effectively govern. Oh and wars--wars are always good for that.

well we have stood up to to some extent the russian aggression over its neighbors so they end up posturing to make it seem as if all of this is the west's fault
