Uber I'm not asking what teachers should do. I'm asking about security and how they should engage children that are violent or aggressive. Because right now there really isn't a standard for which a child should or should not be arrested, thrown down or worst case tazed.
More often then not teachers are rarely suited to deal with these students, which is why I'm asking about security and others that deal with these students on a daily basis. I dont have any issues with violent students, they like my class. But I've had numerous students who go to suspension because of fights in lunch or something.
Like the security guy who was just fired. If the student refuses to leave, you cant ask nicely and simply say please get out of the chair. So that's why I asked you all from an unbiased teacher perspective, what do you think should be done? Kids are literally bearing security guards in one of those videos. What is the alternative to security manhandling a student who refuses to comply?
