This has been known for the better part of a year. The NFL finally announced they're giving the money back.

Yeah I heard about it back in the spring. It's stunning that it took this much time and scrutiny for the NFL to apologize and give back the money. You would think they knew it would come to this.

Yeah it was cool for a while after 9/11 but not it just feels force and fake and a form of propaganda. If it isn't genuine then just don't do it.

Stand up and clap, slap a flag on the program and take the MONEY. Bought and paid for patriotism with tax dollars (millions were used).
