Sigh. You know, what you're doing here, and what the FN is doing, reminds me of Patrick Kane and that whole drama last summer.
When it first broke, without anybody knowing literally anything, you had tons of Hawks fans declaring him innocent and the woman a lying, money-seeking whore. They had already taken a side. They even started a hashtag, #isupport88--like you'd do if somebody was in the hospital with cancer or something.
Then you had another group who immediately declared him guilty--he MUST be, they just knew it--and this lent to Internet idiocy that lasted for months. With both sides battling each other, clearly using this issue to fight some sort of ulterior battle.
I told both sides (and still do to this day) that maybe everybody should stop with the screaming and conspiracy theories until we find out what actually happened, which we may never anyway.
When no charges were filed it didn't stop anything--the pro-Kane people started up with their SEE I TOLD YOU SO! gloating because, you see, they knew all along (without knowing literally any facts of the case) that he was innocent and HAHAHA aren't we all just dumbasses for ever doubting... their psychic ability apparently.
And of course the other side lashed out at how another celebrity had gotten away with rape and/or bought his way out of assaulting a woman and look him walking free, like some modern-day Bill Cosby.
At this point our media can't be trusted to do racial stories anymore because it appears there's no verification before reporting an alleged racism incident but even worse, even when verified you've got the FN changing every story into white vs. black and guess who's the bad guy? Since when is it against conservatism to acknowledge a racial incident when it actually happened? Or to condemn it? Because that's what we have now--every racial incident is spun to play into the white victim narrative, and those people are peppered 24/7 with non-stop stories about how black thugs--especially the one in the White House--are ruining "their" country and taking their money to buy steaks and lobster and flatscreens.
And what a perfect way to keep the populace distracted so they don't pay attention to things that actually affect their lives. Divide and conquer.
