Education has an inherent value. Not surprised to see the moderates advocate for reestablishing educational disparities - how else can we maintain the status quo?

You could be a great student right now and still not be able to go to college because you can't afford it or you'll have to go into a pit of debt to be able.
Providing college for those who test in would remove that problem. So now, yeah, that inner city kid can actually dream of going to college if he works hard instead of listening to "stay in school" platitudes when he knows there's no chance in hell he or his family can pay for it.

lol well i can't co-sign any of that but i'll agree that a guaranteed minimum income is a great idea.

Don't a few countries already have a minimum guaranteed income? I swear I just read about one--maybe Denmark? Norway?--and I was thinking: what an interesting idea.
