Nobody in the war is able to exert itself over the others without outside assistance. Not sure that is a particularly revelatory point.

iraq wasn't launching terrorists attacks, or encouraging them, against the us and the west. isis is.

russia will support his boy assad if we're there or not. but we can eliminate the threat against things that matter to me
their presence in this world needs to be eliminated. the air strikes have continued for 18 months and during that time ISIS has increased its territorial gains. knowing that they are not working by any form of objective measure and knowing that obama was factually incorrect when he said isis was "contained" hours before they killed more people in Paris than soliders were killed in the iraq war, what do you suggest? keep on trucking?
