Police brutality is a serious issue that is not always tied to race. We all understand that. But those of us who are based in reality also understand that all too often it IS tied to race. If you want to focus on it in non-racial terms, stop whining about how race gets brought up and try to productively address the overall issue of police brutality

Well, to be fair to Galt, the idea that America is more racist now than even the 90s is absurd. America has never been less racist.
It's important people realize there is still a long ways to go, but equally as important to recognize and acknowledge the tremendous progress made. A black President is certainly a good indicator.
