Ouch man, for a bright buy you sure seem to have lost it on this subject. Are you actually taking a politician at their word? Let me guys, you also believe Obama when he says he is "excited to work across the aisle with my republican colleagues". Look at the context of jerked speech and look at how forceful her language is relative to other speeches. She can't scream out no more immigrants, but this was the political equivalent of doing just that. As you wel know, every country promises to take all asylums seekers, then of course they set the quota there. Only want 20k immigrants next near? "We are committed to taking all those true asylum seekers, but we will remove those who aren't!" Then jack up the standards for asylum, reject most, and only take the 20k best or whatever the quota is. This is the UKs policy and in this speech, merely has effectively adopted it for Germany (and the whole eu).

Again, you severely underestimate the backlash there is in Germany and across Europe at a million Muslim immigrants being allowed into the country. This is an all out retreat for merkel, but feel free to play dumb and take a f**k political at their word lol
