She was literally the equivalent of a school vice principle. Acting important, but no one paid any attention to her. Maybe she'll get to do the announcements on the next Death Star after they do the pledge of allegiance.

All that said (and I thoroughly enjoyed the back and forth saz) I did enjoy the movie. It was fun, and it was great seeing my kid enjoy his "first" Star Wars movie in a theater. I just wish the bad guys were badder.
Imagine if GRRM wrote Star Wars......luke would have been killed, the Death Star would have survived, Jabba would have yanked Leia's gold bikini off, etc. it would be glorious, although probably not as successful with the youngsters.
