Stars are too young and inexperienced to make noise in the playoffs. Playoff hockey is a mans game. Stars are too young. Also you guys are fast and thrive on high percentage odd man rushes and fast open ice plays in transition. That shit doesnt exist in the playoffs. And in terms of sustained o zone pressure Your top producers create their best looks dragging in D to the corners and using speed to push around the strong side crease, creating weak side chances or forcing rhe second d man or center to commit to the pass creating scoring chances from the slot. In the playoffs you can bump and grind guys without the puck and teams always clog the lanes up the middle so that wont work either.

Barring major adjustments, which i dont see the inexperienced ruff being able to make and implement effectively, this isnt your year.

They will be around for a while though and are a few pieces away from contending.
