social security's "constitutional" foundation rests on the absurdity that the status of being employed by an employer is a privilege subject to excise tax and that "general welfare" is inverted in meaning and actually refers to discrete individuals who require aid instead of the whole (the difference between defending the nation from an attack and a welfare check)
