Honestly looking at Sanders's policies and demeanor, he will fare very poorly once the spotlight really turns to him. He's largely ignored by the media right now. You view that as bias I think, and it may be, but in some ways it's helpful to him because he does not have a fundamentally appealing demeanor and manner of speaking. He's also way too honest, his policies are mediocre and hard to sell (most require an explanation that takes more than 30 seconds), and his tax policy will be wildly unpopular and shat on (rightly) from both sides. I know most policies don't matter that much, but a self-proclaimed socialist trying to be honest about the sacrifices that we need to make in terms of tax increases, etc. will get massacred. Also some of his tax policies really are shit IMO.
Any of Cruz, Rubio or Trump would beat him I think. Perhaps not the third.
