No, I can't. the BBC just says "on facebook", and other places just say he used his account.
I'm guilty of assuming that as he was quickly reported to the police, he used his account to post on one of the public tribute pages.

Words should never land you in jail unless they lead directly to the physical harm of others.
What he posted may have been vile (I say may, because I haven't read it, and do not intend to) but unless he set out deliberately to get a message to the family of the missing girl, then it does not even warrant criminal investigation, let alone imprisonment.
