I'm happy about Bradford. He really played well in the second half of the season after getting progressively better from a very slow start in the first half. Considering he missed 2 years prior to that, I think the second half is much more telling than the first

Well you seemed to think Foles was a pretty decent QB in the past. Then look at what happens to him when he gets dropped in the situation Bradford was in his whole career up til 2015. Jeff Fisher f**k sucks. Bradford was Rookie of the Year before Fisher showed up and then had 2 very horrific injuries. If you believe, like I do, that Bradford isn't really that fragile but simply had a bad knee tear that didn't heal properly after the first surgery, you're left with a guy who has been in horrible situations that haven't made success possible throughout his career thus far. But for me he passes the eye test and looks like a good QB who has had this misfortune of never having the same offensive coordinator two years in a row. A trend that sadly continues into this year.

Joe Flacco got a contract extension and won't be leaving anytime soon.

The Franchise tag would have cost almost as much for one year as he has guaranteed for two. Doesnt make any sense. Also, I said he passed the eye test and you replied with stats. Stats and eye test are two different things. I'm guess you are commenting on his performance at the end of last year without watching, as you have admitted to doing in the past, so not much I can say to convince you. By actually watching him play, I judge him to be an above average QB.

The problem with tagging Bradford is that if we want to keep him (and you don't sign a QB to a starters contract or tag him unless you expect to eventually want him long term) you end up getting f**k in the ensuing contract. This deal is only 2 years and has only a few more mil guaranteed than the cost of a franchise tag. I may not trust Roseman in much else, but he's indisputably smart with contracts/cap.

I'm familiar with his stats but unlike you I've actually watched him play. This is exactly why you thought Foles was a solid QB too I suspect: you didn't actually watch.

By track record you mean his team had good records when he was with a jets squad that had a world class defense and he wasn't asked to do much. You can't possibly actually think Sanchez is better than Bradford.
