It's the equivalent of a one year deal with a second year team option. Very little guaranteed money in the second year with offsets and cheaper than a franchise tag. Couple that with no one better being available and why wouldn't I like the deal?

Looks like the Eagles read my posts (or maybe you forwarded them Philly) by signing Chase Daniel. He will be your starter before the season is out, which begs the question, why did they sign Bradofrd in the first place? Either way, you're going to have a really highly paid backup, because Daniel is actually a year older than Bradford. Confusing, but smart to not rely on Bradford at least.

Daniels been heavily rumored to come to the Eagles ever since we hired Pederson. Doug really liked having him behind Alex Smith.

Yeah that probably had something to do with him wanting to leave. Though if they really wanted to bring him back he's dumb for leaving over that.
