There will never be an end to scarcity, need, wants, haves, have-nots, etc.
You give everyone food, water, a house, etc., and suddenly the guy with 2 houses is better off. Give everyone 2 houses, and the guy with 3 is better.
There is literally no scenario where you can say people wouldn't be stratified. If everyone had their own planet, then I would want 2. Why not? I'd also like a different car to drive every day, a few 747s to remotely fly over the pacific, and a cruise liner to myself (complete with staff) for vacations. And, the moon. I want the moon. Why? Probably never go there, but just so I can say, "See that? It's mine."
