Female Link is like male Lara Croft. Or female Mario. WTF. I don't know how we got to the point where its a sin to tell a story about a male character.
Then you have people bitching about the female Shepherd option in the Mass Effect series...but in those games you've always had the option of custom character creation. I played Femshep simply because the voice actor was so much better. The guy was monotone and irritating.
Snowflakes would at least have some sharp edges. Silly putty generation more like.
