yeah. well it still is very pro-american, just like im sure the chinese tv is happy when china beats america. it's mainly primetime though. since they play non-americans doing x sport during the day there's much less of what you see in primetime. and even then it's like... the announcers for gymnastics (and figure skating... so basically the effeminate men announcers who can't keep their feelings in check)

well it's one thing in a match of US competitors vs other team to be rooting for the home team, but it's weirder in these competitions where its turn based and in those only some people get not-so-secretly gleeful at the misfortune of others
