If the GOP changes their position to appeal more to minorities and youth they lose their base. And notice how your argument relies on contingencies instead of the actual state of affairs today. That's because you know, based on current hard data, that Republicans face an uphill battle with respect to America's demographics.

Republicans do much better in local elections. Never disputed that. But if we get the SCOTUS and add 11 million brown voters and end gerrymandering.....holy f**k the gop could be proper f**k then. Fingers crossed.
