Meh. Maybe he'll do OK.
Everyone laughed when California elected the Governator. But he turned out to do be acceptable enough, even to Californians, to be reelected.
He'll certainly make the supreme court a wasteland of depravity. But, as is always the case, the actual powers of the office of the POTUS are wildly exaggerated.
Now...all the campaign promises. Lets see if any of it at all sticks. I'm betting practically none of it. GOP will control both houses, so he won't even be able to blame the Dems about the Wall that didn't happen. And does the GOP have the stomach to strip tens of millions of voters of health coverage?
And to cap it all off...the markets are poised to shed almost 4% in the morning. Over 700 points shaved off the Dow.
It'll be interesting. No fun to be an object of derision for the entire planet (except Russia and China, of course. They're happy as can be right now) to an even greater degree, but hey. We should be used to it by now. No sense even trying to fight back anymore.
