3 things:
1) Alex Rodriguez... This is what happens when a player gets older but no longer can take steroids.. His skills fell off like he was falling off a cliff.
2) guaranteed money is killing baseball... Yanks signed this guy when he was talking steroids and in his prime.. The Yanks still owe him over $100 mil, yet he can no longer hit... Not that I feel sorry for the Yanks, they can afford it.. But if a smaller market team was in the same situation owing that kind of money would kill the team for years..
3) no salary cap is killing baseball.... Arod made $29 mil this year..LOL... That's 1/2 of some teams TOTAL payroll.. It's F'ing ridiculous.
