Galt...the Europeans are far more likely to tuck their junk and let a tin pot like Putin roll over them than to actually start slaughtering each other again. They'd sooner watch the Baltic states fall than fire a shot at anyone who could actually respond. The French are perfectly happy to pulverize Libyans or scatter thousands of troops across Africa...but shoot at all their own trading partners, inlaws, and financial hubs? That's crazy talk, n'est-ce pas?

Like I said, Europe's conflicts will mostly be internal as they go through a bitter divorce after years of taking other people's shit to furnish their living rooms.
You're also forgetting America has its own issues. America being the unloved first-born, wondering why the same expectations aren't applied to Canada and Australia, why it's held to a higher standard and asked to take care of everyone even as it develops a taste for domination. All that pent up frustration with the burden, might just snap, join a metal band, and experiment with massive social collapse.

The world needs to be the size of Jupiter so people that don't like each other can get further away from each other. Although it would only be a temporary solution.
