I used to be a huge fan of hockey. I have dozens of Eric Lindros rookie cards. Used to rent the ice with some friends at Kent State and play hockey. Good times. But watching a hockey game is frustrating. Too many line changes leading to the inevitable icing call. It's hard to find the puck on TV. Years ago, they tried to enhance it by highlighting the puck, but then it looked like lasers and sh*t on TV.
As far as soccer goes, too many juvenile, ignorant, unenlightened, and cretinous comments on this thread. It's a lot like a Twitter post from Donald Trump.
To me, soccer is a cross between ballet (aerial grace), chess (strategy), and war (war).
There's good reason it is the most popular sport on planet Earth.
Anyone confused or would like to learn more, I'd be more than happy to give a crash course.
Thankless, and proooouuuud of it!
