I was saying "shrewd" as a means of avoiding the leaks at the White House and the State Department. "Politically" was meant as a way of preserving geopolitical intentions.

Very little practical difference between Obamacare foundering and this abortion of a bill Ryan was idiotically trying to push. The same tens of millions of disadvantaged Americans would be screwed over in either case.
Everywhere else in the developed world (and a lot of the developing one) people have healthcare the same way they have mail delivery and filled potholes.
