Sanders would have destroyed Trump, and that is a fact. Those denying this have been consistently wrong for going on two years now. The reason why we have President Trump is because Democrats, for reasons that still aren't clear to me, chose one of the single worst candidates in American history, who was universally disliked and distrusted. They did this despite having a choice to vote for a candidate who raised the most individual donations in American history, who is the most respected and well-liked man in American politics, who has been fighting for progressive causes for almost forty years, who held the largest campaign rallies in American history, and who is uniquely suited at reaching out to disaffected independents and conservatives. It was a horrendous act of self-harm that still shocks me. What the f**k were they thinking?
