oh i agree there are def problems with it and he did the US no favors by pulling out (or announcing the intention to), however, chinese immigration policy is far far more hostile than the US. the US immigration policy i think is one of the most open in the world. china has something like around a thousand foreign nationals with citizenship, total? out of a billion? and we get hundreds of thousands ever year, for just citizenship. i wouldn't be worried about brain drain as much as you think

only the orange fascist since he was elected to the office gets automatic top secret clearance. people like that? wtf. i'm not saying you cannot have disagreements with policy or whatever, but you must be loyal to the government and the executive if you're gonna get top secret clearance. at least that makes sense to me, or else you might end up leaking shit to our enemies
