the main problem with barbarossa was that hitler thought he needed to destroy the red army, and he left moscow by itself, and gave enough time for his ally, japan, to sign an non aggression pact with USSR, which allowed troops from the far east to arrive in defense of moscow
without british and US support, the USSR would have fallen too
and with a victory at dunkirk, it would have been the end of the UK in WWII. it truly was victory out of jaws of defeat
