turns out he has brain cancer
which was found (well, a clot was) during his routine checkups
which he has every 4 months

In the end, replacing bullshit with other bullshit accomplishes nothing. That seems to be the plan.

Ok...so this just get's more and more bizarre:
1. BCRA failed Tuesday night
2. Straight repeal without replace failed today
3. New bill is being formulated to remove mandate, employer mandate, and tax on medical device firms.
New bill would likely lead to death spiral as essential health benefits remain in place - removing mandate makes it untenable. Individual market will simply become unaffordable.
