wildfires, like, hurricanes, are natural occurrences. in the case of montana, it's from decades of combating wildfires so nothing burns that they become out of control. responsible management includes letting things burn. sure it might be a bit out of control right now in a few places but it's not like fort mcmurray.
the biggest wildfire in montana is almost 100,000 acres and it is 100% contained (
